Lucy Winkler is a fashion stylist for moving images and editorial photography. From the conception of ideas to the implementation on the set, she realizes the needs of the respective project with great attention to detail.
Studio Catana was commissioned to design her identity, stationery and website showcasing the diversity of the stylist’s work. The type-led identity is inspired by the aesthetics of old title sequences; within uppercase titles, the size of the words varies according to the information to be highlighted. Contrasting white spaces, large images and bold headlines allude to editorial layouts. By combining these key elements, a flexible and playful visual identity was created. Franklin Gothic Condensed, the sans serif typeface designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1902, was chosen as the central typeface. Its narrow proportions optimise space, creating a compact and bold logotype. Content is brought to life through colourful compositions inspired by the tones of the outfits. The studio created templates for social media, enabling the stylist to create new content within one coherent visual language.
