HECTOR — To celebrate the birth of their newborn son Hector, Clara and Arnaud Paquier commissioned Studio Catana to create a birth announcement that is out of the ordinary. The composition of the A5 card is divided into a six-panel grid as found in comic books. The card combining basic geometric shapes is a reference to children's games, such as wooden toys, solar system shapes and spinning tops.

Benjamin Behrendt produced a limited edition of the card employing risograph printing. This mechanical printing technique allowed the printing of one colour at a time. Each time the paper passed through the machine, small misalignments accumulated, which gave the print its artisanal character and made each print unique.
