MEASH — maesh is a bag label rooted in social and sustainable production. Each piece is made from used advertising banners, transforming discarded material into durable and functional objects. The project emerged from the initiative Unter einem Dach in Hannover, supporting the professional integration of women with experience in textile work. The bag label reflects a commitment to local production, craftsmanship, and circular use of materials.
The identity is dynamic and colourful, drawing on the act of sewing to reflect both the making process and the diversity of the products. A custom typeface based on Space Grotesk forms a flexible typographic system in which dashes suggest stitching, embedding the logic of assembly into the visual language. This system unfolds through playful compositions across packaging, labels, campaign communications, and the website.
